It has an alligator leather strap with an 18k rose gold ALS tang buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a pull out winding crown, and an exhibition sapphire display case back secured with 6 screws, and engraved around the polished perimeter with “A. LANGE & SOHNE LIMITED GLASHUTTE SA.,” hallmarks, a serial number, and the edition number out of 218. The 40.5mm diameter solid three-body case, downturned lugs, and thin angled bezel are polished. The three-part black enamel dial has a step-down center, applied white Roman numeral hour markers, and a white perimeter minute/hour chapter ring with red quarter-hour Arabic numeral markings. There are white gold sword hands and in the 6 o’clock position is a recessed subsidiary dial with running small seconds and a white gold hand. It has a 36-hour power reserve at full wind, and the 10.7mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

It’s constructed with 33 jewels, 915 components, a shock absorber device, and 2 screwed gold chatons. It includes a lever escapement, monometallic balance with 6 eccentric poising weights adjusted to 5 positions, a self-compensating Breguet balance spring, and a swan neck micrometer regulator. It has a hand-engraved balance bridge with polished beveled edges, a hacking seconds device for precision time setting, and a shock-resistant screw balance. There is a balance spring that oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz), a precision beat-adjustment system with a lateral setscrew and whiplash spring. The fusee chain, which is comprised of 636 components transformed into 212 links, which are joined to form a 152mm chain. It’s visible through a drop-shaped cutout in the ¾ plate, and shows how the intricate chain unwinds from the mainspring barrel onto the fuse during the winding of the watch.
