The A. Lange & Sohne Zeitwerk 41.9mm watch. Model reference: 140.029. The representative of a true revolution in time telling, the first mechanical timepiece to feature a digital-readout display with the hour and minutes apertures lined up in a natural horizontal reading format. Its rounded 41.9mm case of 12.6mm thickness is made of 18K white gold with a see-through back. The silver dial consists of upper and lower parts as the movement bridge protrudes through it. The jumping hour and minute windows are placed symmetrically to the right and left of the dial and displayed in Arabic Numerals. They feature tapered edged frames for a legible view of the current time. The small seconds silver sub-dial is at the bottom and the power-reserve indicator placed at the top symmetrically to it. The watch has polished white gold hands for both sub-dials. Also, on the bridge, a large screw and a sapphire jewel end-stone are visible. The L043.1 mechanical movement is wound manually and consists of 415 individual parts. It contains 66 jewels and features 36-hour power reserve. Included is a hand-stitched, black crocodile strap with an engraved white gold ardillon buckle. The watch comes in original packaging, with a set of documents.
