The Carl F. Bucherer Patravi Traveltec FourX in Palladium. Reference Number 00.10620.21.93.01. The Patravi TravelTec FourX houses the Carl F. Bucherer calibre CFB 1901.1 automatic movement with about 42 hours of power reserve, scratch resistant sapphire crystal, screw down crown, and a 46.6 mm case water resistant to 50 meters. Four materials are actually used on the case. Most of it is palladium, ceramic for the bezel, titanium, and rubber which is used on the crown and chronograph pushers. It features a Chronograph; hour, minute and seconds counters, three time zones, date, hour, minute and small seconds. The design of the Patravi TravelTec, which was first launched in 2006, created entirely new challenges for engineers, watchmakers and designers, since the specification required the clear and simultaneous indication of three time zones, necessitating for the first time ever the integration of movement and case. In the Patravi TravelTec, the case contains part of the time-zone selection mechanism, which is controlled in two directions by means of a single push-piece. The process can even be observed through a window that has been let into the side. Carl F. Bucherer is a world-renowned Swiss watch brand based in Lucerne. Carl F.
