The Vacheron & Constantin Malte Chronograph in 18K white gold, Model reference: 47120/000G-9098.
It has a leather strap with a matching 18k white gold buckle and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. The solid, 41.5mm diameter, three-body case, stepped and angled bezel, rounded band, and fluted fan-shaped lugs are polished. The sapphire crystal transparent case back is secured with 6 screws. The engine turned dial is silver guilloche with epee hands, applied black Arabic numeral hour markers and luminescent dots, and two round chronograph push-buttons in the band. A subsidiary sweep seconds dial is at the 9 o’clock position, and there is a minute counter at 3 o’clock.
There is an outer minute track with telemeter and tachometer scales on a plain reserve, and it’s water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet. It has a 48-hour power reserve, and the 10.9mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The manual wind Vacheron & Constantin caliber 1141 has a rhodium plated nickel-finished lever movement, with fausses cotes embellishment. It’s constructed with 21 jewels, a shock absorber mechanism, and a mono-metallic beryllium balance that’s adjusted to 5 positions. It includes a straight-line lever escapement, a self-compensating Breguet balance spring, and a swan neck micrometer regulator.
